About
Mission

We aim to promote sound climate financing mechanisms for natural capital
We combine remote sensing and causal inference techniques to assess the effectiveness of nature conservation projects with a high degree of accuracy. We also collaborate with national and international research and public institutions to incorporate cutting-edge knowledge on natural capital. By visualising these findings in an easy-to-understand format that can be shared and incorporated into our own services, we encourage companies interested in purchasing carbon credits to invest in natural capital. Forest carbon credits are mainly generated by project developers, such as environmental NGOs, who carry out forest conservation activities in tropical rainforests and other areas. We provide a platform that connects both credit buyers and project developers, contributing to a faster and more transparent sharing of information about what is happening on the project site and what companies are looking for.
Credo
At war against greenwashing
- We pledge to remain alert to prevent unintended involvement in greenwashing.
- We will do our utmost to ensure that funds are channelled into natural capital without being complicit in the creation of junk carbon credits.
In search of new knowledge
- We continously put in our best effort to stay current with the findings of academic research in our daily work.
- Knowledge can easily become out-of-date in our rapidly changing world and it is extremely crucial to regularly review and renew our understanding.
On the shoulder of giants
- We aim to respect prior research and use that wisdom to build valuable services.
- Our operations are supported by Earth observation satellites such as Sentinel and Landsat, and a wealth of previous research in forest science and ecology.
Next to leading institutions
- The degradation of natural resources, such as through deforestation, is caused by a complex array of factors that we cannot tackle on our own and without external help.
- We strive for collaboration alongside both domestic and overseas research institutes and business companies.
